A Secure PayLink will automatically expire if not completed within 60 days. If the transaction associated with the Secure PayLink is no longer valid or the Secure PayLink was created with incorrect transaction data, then it can be deactivated using the below steps.
Step 1: Click on the EC-Zone > Secure PayLink option from the EC-Navigator menu on the left side of the screen. This will direct you to the Create Secure PayLink tab.
Step 2: Click on the View Secure PayLinks tab.
Step 3: If applicable, select the appropriate Merchant from the drop-down in the Merchant Selection section.
Step 4: If applicable, select the appropriate Location from the drop-down in the Location Selection section.
Step 5: If applicable, select the appropriate Terminal from the drop-down in the Terminal Selection section.
Step 6: Locate the appropriate Secure PayLink within the Secure PayLinks table. To search for the appropriate transaction, expand the Filter Criteria section and enter your search parameters.
Step 7: Hover over the Actions radial button along the left of the Secure PayLink.
Step 8: Click on Deactivate. A message dialogue will display asking for confirmation to complete the request. Click OK to complete the deactivation or Cancel to keep the link active.
Note: If a customer attempts to use a deactivated Secure PayLink then they will receive a message that the link is no longer active and that they should contact the merchant organization that provided the link.
