How to store Bank Account Information

You can store Bank Account Information within Customer profiles, found under the Customer Account > Customers section of the EC-Navigator menu on the left side of the screen. The Bank Information tab found within the customer dialog box allows for the storage of a bank account number and bank routing number.

Step 1: Click on the Customer Accounts>Customers option from the EC-Navigator menu on the left side of the screen.

Step 2: If applicable, select the appropriate Merchant from the drop-down in the Merchant Selection section.

Step 3: If applicable, select the appropriate Location from the drop-down in the Location Selection section.

Step 4: Locate the appropriate Customer record. To search for the appropriate Customer, expand the Filter Criteria section and enter your search parameters.  Alternatively, if you will be adding a new Customer, click the “Add” button and move directly to Step 6.

Step 5: Hover over the Actions radial button along the left of the Customer record and select “Properties”.

Step 6: Select the “Bank Information” tab. 

Step 7: Enter the Account Number (maximum 17 alpha-numeric characters) and Routing Number (Maximum 9 digits) of the bank account.  If you are creating a new Customer, also enter the Customer Name and Customer Code values on the Properties tab, as well as any desired additional information.

Step 8: Click on the “Apply” or “OK” buttons at the bottom right of the dialog box to save the entered information. Selecting “Cancel” will not save any newly entered or changes to the information and will return the user to the previous page.

Note: The Customer Name and Customer Code fields are required to save a customer profile.

Note: EC-Navigator® is a permission-driven application. Your Username may not have access to certain functionality described within the Knowledge Base section. Consult your account administrator if you require permissions to additional EC-Navigator functionality.
